Well, gardeners, if you haven’t had enough of wedding our lovely community garden, you can help weed Samuel P Taylor State Park!

Dear Zen Weeders,

Spring is here.  Come outside and enjoy it on Friday, April 8 and Sunday, April 10 at Samuel P. Taylor State Park.    The birds are singing in the woods and the creek is happily running to the sea.  Friday we will listen to the music as we revisit the South Creek Trail and remove this year’s crop of invasive weeds before they can set new seeds.  Possible shower Friday afternoon, but we will weed in light rain.  Let me know if you are coming, please.

Please meet near the second bathroom in the main picnic area – at the far end – look for my red Honda.  Please arrive a little before 1pm.  Inquire at the kiosk to find our location if you need to come later.  Tell the kiosk manager you are a volunteer to get your parking pass or ask me for one.
